Senior Engineer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Produce a quality design to meet internal & external expectations.
- Explore improvement opportunities and makes proposals for corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare all parts drawings, info for user manual and maintain a proper technical recording.
- Provide guidance to new or junior Design Engineer & help them by providing solution or others technical information.
- Always provide solutions for projects & arrangement for improvement.
- Take in-charge of the department and to make a right decision on behalf of Section Manager during his absent.
- Attend to production & customers design related issues & provide commitment on the improvement action.
- Follow up closely on every single design that been done.
- Make sure the design output meets the design input.
- The design must go through a proper review & verification before send out for production, fabrication or purchasing & sourcing.
- Provide training to the Junior Design Engineer.
- Carry out project as assigned by the Superior, COO, CEO and/or EC.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, or Related field experience.
Able to handle projects independently.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation equipment design & trouble-shooting.
Ability to independently coordinate with customer for machine buy-off schedule.
Should possess responsibility and have strong communication and action-orientated skills.
Strong experience automation design and CAD software. Familiar with pneumatics and motion controls.
Technical knowledge in automation equipment design. CAD software. Communication skill. Project follow up
