Operator / Assembly – Medical Device Manufacturing

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Perform production, assembly, packaging, labelling and inspection activities according to approved Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and production schedules.
  • Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Ensure products meet quality specifications and immediately report any defects, abnormalities or non-conforming products to the Supervisor.
  • Perform in-process visual inspection and basic quality checks during production.
  • Complete production records, batch records, logbooks and other required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area.
  • Handle raw materials, components and finished goods carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Comply with gowning procedures and cleanroom requirements where applicable.
  • Assist in production line setup, line clearance and changeover activities.
  • Support stock counting and material reconciliation activities when required.
  • Report machine malfunction, material shortages, safety hazards or production issues to the immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum SPM / SPMV or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or GMP environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and SOPs accurately
